Genhelix is a Spanish biopharmaceutical group composed of an R&D laboratory, cGMP plant, a training center and a foundation.
We are located in León, in the northwest of Spain, in the city’s Technology Park, an important part of its biocluster, made up of the Park itself and the University of León (which features a Biotechnology degree and postgraduate students) along with several research institutes within the sector.
Genhelix’s principal activity is the processing, scaling and production of monoclonal Antibodies and biosimilar recombinant proteins within our area of expertise under strict compliance of the cGMP regulation and with the highest standards of quality.
Genhelix stands out as one of the few companies in the sector that functions as a one-stop facility, offering all the services necessary from the Working Cell Bank to industrial scale production (500 kg of purified protein per year). To this we add the most modern single-use production platforms and the Protoplant™ concept as the cornerstone of our excellence.
Our team includes a managerial staff with vast technological and managerial experience in the leading companies of the sector, such as Genentech, Lonza, GSK and Antibióticos, as well as perfectly trained technical staff and a young group of people enthusiastic about their work.
